WarmFloors was founded back in 2004 by Russel Zera and his wife Sarah, with a simple but ambitious goal: to provide homeowners across Yorkshire with high-quality, reliable underfloor heating solutions. What started as a small family-run business specialising in electrical underfloor heating quickly grew into a name recognised for quality, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
Like every business with true staying power, our journey has been shaped by both challenges and successes. We weathered the 2008 credit crunch, adapted through periods of political uncertainty, and, more recently, faced the upheaval of Covid — all while keeping our commitment to quality and service at the heart of everything we do. Each obstacle became an opportunity to refine our skills, strengthen our reputation, and build even deeper trust with our customers.
Over the last two decades, WarmFloors has evolved into one of Yorkshire’s most experienced and respected underfloor heating specialists. We’ve earned that reputation by consistently delivering systems that don’t just work, but perform at their very best — tailored to each project with care, precision, and technical expertise.
In 2024, a new chapter began as WarmFloors became part of the Leodis Group. This move wasn’t about changing who we are — it was about enhancing what we can offer. Backed by the strength and resources of Leodis, we can now provide our customers with:

As part of this group, WarmFloors has grown into a team of over 20 highly skilled installers, including renewable energy experts, gas engineers, electricians, and of course, our dedicated underfloor heating specialists. This collaboration allows us to offer a truly all-in-one solution — from floor preparation and system design, through to installation, screeding, plumbing, boilers, air source heat pumps, and ongoing after-care.
